RTGNS :
A dual channel on a common platform

Scope of service
SWIFTNet FIN

Within the framework of SWIFTNet FIN implementation, C.R.I. is one of the first platform to shift its connection to SWIFT through IP mode between the end of 2002 and the beggining of 2003.

On this occasion, C.R.I. has carried out the complete modernization of its whole system.
A new design of the technical architecture, distributed between the two levels of AIX servers, integrates access interfaces to SWIFTNet FIN network (SWIFTNet Link – SNL / SWIFT Alliance Gateway - SAG), laid in frontal with back-office applications (CBT Alliance Access and C.R.I. application).
Through IP protocol, the whole new system offers a high security level based in particular on the use of firewalls and guarantees the easy implementation of new functionalities, such as FileAct and Interact.
Without any impact on the participants, the chosen solution optimizes the functional architecture of C.R.I platform and strengthens the strategic and competitive advantage of C.R.I. With this architecture, C.R.I. will be able to answer all of the new functionalities sought by its participants.
Capacities and performances have also been completely upgraded to exceed 40% the current peak days.
